Chamber President Search

The Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber of Commerce has retained Jorgenson Consulting for its search for the Chamber's next president and CEO. The Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber serves more than 2,800 business members through a substantial program of work that includes networking, regional development, loan programs and education initiatives.

Candidates from the region are encouraged to apply. Applications will be accepted until Friday, May 16.

The Chamber president implements the policies and programs of the Chamber; identifies key issues and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors, members and the community; supervises and directs the 20-member professional staff; oversees finances; and serves as spokesperson.

Experience with a membership organization that includes resource development, program development and implementation, building stakeholder relationships and financial management is desirable. Leadership experience, critical thinking skills and the ability to communicate effectively are required.
