GenNEXT Task Forces

The only traditional meetings held by GenNEXT are the monthly task force meetings, which are open to all members. GenNEXT currently has three task forces, "Tomorrow’s Leaders Today," "Live, Work and Play" and "Discover Tech Valley, Rediscover Home."

We encourage all GenNEXT members who want to become more involved to attend task force meetings. You do not have to register for a GenNEXT task force meeting; just show up.

Tomorrow's Leaders Today
The mission of this task force is to create a class of future leaders by promoting philanthropy and civic engagement, developing leadership skills through mentoring programs and encouraging advocacy for initiatives that will secure a healthy economic future for Tech Valley.

Task Force meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of every month from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Chamber’s office at One Computer Drive South In Albany. Get directions.

Live, Work and Play
The mission of this task force is to consciously and proactively engage our membership in addressing quality of life issues, promoting regional economic development and raising awareness of our recreational and cultural resources. Focusing on these three initiatives will build the balance necessary for a high quality of life for young professionals in Tech Valley.

Task Force meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of every month from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Chamber’s office at One Computer Drive South In Albany. Get directions.
