Small Business Council
The Capital Region is home to many small businesses that deserve to be recognized; help us discover these individuals and companies by nominating them for their achievements. The winners will be recognized at the 2010 Small Business Awards on Thursday, April 22 at The Desmond Hotel & Conference Center at 7:30 am. Self-nominations are encouraged.

The Small Business Council ensures that the Chamber provides programs and services to meet the unique needs of small businesses and raise awareness of the critical role that they play in the community and the region's economy.
The council also fosters small business growth by providing expert advice and valuable information and resources to aid the successful operations of the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber's small business members.
The council meets monthly and offers a full schedule of events and seminars, hosts an annual awards program and holds bi-monthly roundtable discussion groups for solo entrepreneurs.
Executive Dialogue, sponsored by the SBC, provides an environment for Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber members to exchange advice with peers in non-competing businesses. Participants form dialogue groups to hold frank and confidential discussions of each member’s specific business concerns. Download an Executive Dialogue application.
