Premium Billing


Those members enrolled in Empire Blue Cross and MVP Corporate and new enrollments in GHI will be billed directly by the carrier on a monthly basis.

Those members enrolled in Blue Shield and Blue Shield Dental, CDPHP, MVP Sole Proprietors, American General Voluntary Dental Plan and Guardian Dental will be billed with one consolidated bill by the Business Services Corporation with a due date of the first of each month. Premium payments not received from a company by the first day of the month are assessed a $25 late fee.

Processing Fees per Application
$20 per new application submitted for a medical/prescription plan.
$10 per new application submitted for a dental plan.

Administration and Invoicing Fees
There is no administration or invoicing fee for Empire Blue Cross, Blue Shield of Northeastern New York, Blue Shield Dental, CDPHP High Deductible PPO, GHI and MVP Corporate. For CDPHP AvidCare 15 Plan, MVP Sole Proprietors, Guardian and American General, there is a fee included in the monthly premium rate.
