2013 Women of Excellence Announced
Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber will honor seven women for professional
achievements, community work
Seven women who have achieved success in their professional careers and dedicated themselves to community service will join the prestigious ranks of the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber’s “Women of Excellence.” The honorees will be celebrated at the 22nd annual luncheon on Thursday, May 30.
The Chamber received numerous nominations of members and non-members. A committee of previous Women of Excellence award recipients made the selection.
This year’s honorees are:
Distinguished Career:
Donna Lamkin, Chief Program Officer, Center for Disability Services
Excellence in Management (100+ staff members):
Joan Hayner, CMPE, CEO, CapitalCare Medical Group
Excellence in Management (1-99 staff members):
Maryellen Gilroy, Ed. D., Vice President for Student Affairs, Siena College
Excellence in Business:
Faith Ann Takes, President, Empire Education Corporation
Excellence in the Professions:
