Internship Program

Companies participating in the College of Saint Rose Joint Internship Program receive many benefits. A young, ambitious and highly motivated business student will complete projects and tasks that your employees may not have the time to undertake. It is an investment in the future of Tech Valley and an opportunity to retain college graduates in the region. The program is also an excellent recruitment tool when looking for permanent employees.
 
Students gain valuable hands-on experience in their fields of study and earn 120 hours of credit.

In order to participate, contact Janet Tanguay at (518) 431-1430. After your information is received, it will be placed in a database and made available to students interested in participating in the program. The Albany Colonie Chamber will contact you with appropriate students, their resumes and contact information for potential placement in your organization. You are encouraged to interview each candidate and select the individual that best fits your needs.

Interns and their employers are asked to attend an opening and closing session. Additionally, employers are required to complete both a mid-term and final evaluation to measure the student's progress throughout the semester. These evaluations are used for determining grades and are provided by the College.
