Business Interest Groups/Councils
Through the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber’s business interest groups — more commonly referred to as business councils — members can connect with business professionals in similar industries or career stages or even with those who may be going through the same work experiences. These connections can help advance your career or improve your business.
Councils also host numerous programs throughout the year — presented by experts in their respective fields — that focus on the topics important to today’s business professionals such as new ways to market your business, how to become a better leader, incorporating diversity in your work place and how the region’s evolving economy is impacting your business.
Becoming active in a council is a tremendous opportunity to get involved with the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber, develop relationships with your peers and gain useful information that can be applied to the way you do business. There is no additional charge to join a council if you're a member of the Chamber. Some councils require a separate application form to join.
