The Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber's Entrepreneurial Boot Camp is New York state’s Entrepreneurial Assistance Program (EAP) – administered locally by the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber and funded by the Empire State Development Corporation.
The program is designed to provide business assistance to aspiring entrepreneurs, increase the formation of new businesses and strengthen the operations of businesses during the early stages of development.
Entrepreneurial Boot Camp helps entrepreneurs and first-time business owners to develop skills and access the capital they will need to turn their business concepts into reality.
Services include classroom instruction and one-on-one counseling, peer support groups and business mentoring from experienced business owners who have been through the ups and downs of starting and running a business. Entrepreneurs learn business skills and how to develop a business plan. In fact, at the end the course, participants will have completed a rough draft of their business plan.
