Ribbon Cuttings
The Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber has conducted many successful ribbon cutting events for businesses of all types and sizes. We assist and guide members with their ceremonies to help ensure well-planned and well-attended events. Ceremonies must be held Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to maximize attendance and exposure. Mid-morning events work the best.
You need to:
provide one month’s notice to the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber. Contact
Jennifer Sims at (518) 431-1418 to get started.
send invites to other local businesses.
cover any advertising costs.
provide refreshments for attendees or if you’re holding the event during lunchtime, you may want to consider hiring a caterer to provide a light meal.
The Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber will:
assist in the preparations and logistics before and during the event.
notify the appropriate elected officials about the ceremony.
include details of the event in communications to membership.
provide Chamber ribbon, ceremonial scissors and a photographer.
include photos in future Chamber publications, including Visions magazine.
